PURCHASING | Purchasing a Sculpture is very simple. One need only decide on the work desired, choose a site and make the arrangements. There are incidental charges for transportation and installation.
One may also commission a work. We can design a site specific work that will meet your needs. This option can entail a site visit and a series of drawings depicting various options. There is a small refundable fee for drawings. |

LEASING | Many of the Sculptures can be leased for special events such as weddings, galas, benefits etc. It is also possible to lease various sculptures on a long term basis.
Leasing is an economical way to enhance your personal or commercial site.
Leasing also permits a client to be more experimental in their choice of works in that the chosen work is installed temporarily, (minimum of two years on a long term lease), thus alleviating any potential controversies involving subject and style. A temporary work is just that, temporary. The moneys spent on the lease can be applied to the purchase of the work. Short term lease from one day to six months. This lease arrangement involves 1. cost of transportation and installation/de-installation. 2. 5% of the cost of the Sculpture/s per month or any part thereof. It is possible to lease the Sculpture for as short a period as a single day. |
|
LONG TERM LEASE OR LEASE/PURCHASE | From seven months on.
This lease arrangement involves.
1. cost of transportation and installation/de-installation if under seven months. 2. 10% of the cost of the Sculpture/s per year. 3. A Lease/Purchase arrangement applies any Leasing funds to the cost of the work in question. These terms are of course negotiable depending on all the factors involved. From seven months on. BACKING | The Backing Option involves a group or individual funding the construction of a particular Sculpture or group of Sculptures. The Backer is reimbursed when the sculpture sells plus 10% of John Massee1s commission on the sale. The Backer also has the option of having the Sculpture/s installed at their site for a period of one year. The sculpture remains the property of the Artist.
This Backing option permits a group or individual to participate in the Sculptural process. They choose which Sculpture/s they want to Back/promote at a fraction of the cost of purchasing. John Massee has produced many Sculptures in this manner.
